About Me

Researching AI-powered educational technologies for cognitive skill development
I'm a PhD student at the University of Florida researching how AI-powered educational technologies can support the development of cognitive skills such as executive functioning, cognitive flexibility, and problem-solving. My research integrates generative AI, game-based learning, HCI, and UI/UX design.
With an international background spanning Turkey and the US, and experience from undergraduate honors to Gates Foundation-funded research, I create and evaluate interactive learning environments grounded in cognitive and instructional theories. I've contributed to multiple research prototypes, including AI-driven platforms and educational games.
